Bharat corridor inaugurated

PM inaugurated a 13-km additional section of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Vande Bharat corridor.

The new section connects Sahibabad to New Ashok Nagar via Anand Vihar.

This is the first Namo Bharat corridor in Delhi.

computer operators

Starting 2025, the Department of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (RDPR) will observe December 26 (birth anniversary of Charles Babbage) as Computer Data Entry Operators’ Day.

The first computer was invented by Charles Babbage between 1833 and 1871.
Youth Co:Lab
Innovation Challenge

The Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) under NITI Aayog, the UN Development Programme (UNDP) , and Citi Foundation have launched the 7th edition of the Youth Co:Lab National Innovation Challenge for 2024-25.

This year’s challenge focuses on “Enhancing access to opportunities and well-being for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs)”.
®
The initiative will be implemented in collaboration with AssisTech Foundation (ATF) .
®
Youth Co:Lab was launched in 2019 in collaboration with AIM and NITI Aayog.
®
It has reached over 19,000 people and supported 2,600 youth-led teams.
India’s first solar
village

Masali village in Banaskantha, Gujarat , is the first solar village near the India-Pakistan border.
®
Located 40 km from the border.
®
The project involved installing solar panels on 199 rooftops.
®
The project cost was ₹1.16 crore.
®
The village now has 100% solar power.
