New rules for
organic exports

The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has made it mandatory for organic product exporters to obtain a
Transaction Certificate (TC) from a National Programme for Organic Production (NPOP) certification body.

India aims to achieve $2 billion in organic food product exports by 2030.
ONOS launched by

The Ministry of Education (MoE) has launched Phase I of the ‘One Nation, One Subscription (ONOS)’
Central Sector Scheme (CSS).

The initiative is coordinated by INFLIBNET
(Information and Library Network) .

It provides access to 13,000+ journals for 6,300 government academic and R&D institutes.
®
Phase I will benefit 1.8 crore students, faculty, and researchers.
®
₹150 crore is allocated annually to support researchers publishing in high-quality Open Access (OA) journals.
New student visas
for India
®
The Ministry of Home Affairs has launched two new special category visas for international students named ‘e-student visa’ and ‘e-student-x visa’.
®
Applicants must apply for the visas through the ‘Study in India’ (SII) portal.
®
Validity is up to 5 years based on course duration.
