Vaishali Ramesh

Babu was officially awarded the title of Grand Master by the International Chess Federation.

Vaishali is the third Indian woman to win the title of Grand Master after Koneru Humpy and Dronavalli Harika. She is the first woman from Tamil Nadu to win the title of Grand Master. She and his brother Ramesh Babu Praggnanandhaa were the world’s first Grand Master brother-sister duo.
