The forthcoming delimitation is expected to have a significant impact on the distribution of representation in the Lok Sabha. The issue has also been discussed in the context of the FCRA amendments and parliamentary functioning. An all-party meeting has been proposed as a mechanism for wider consultation on delimitation.
