MAITRI 2.0 Portal launched

® The Maharashtra government has launched the MAITRI 2.0 Portal (Maharashtra Industry, Trade, and Investment Facilitation Cell). ® It aims to simplify investments in the state.

Aero India 2025 inaugurated in Bengaluru

® Union Minister inaugurated the 15th edition of Aero India , Asia’s biggest aerospace and defence exhibition, at the Yelahanka Air Force Station in Bengaluru, Karnataka. ® The event was held under the theme “ The Runway to a Billion Opportunities ”.

World Governments Summit 2025

® 12th edition of the World Governments Summit (WGS) was held in Dubai, UAE Theme : ‘ Shaping Future Governments ’. Six major themes were discussed: ® Effective Governance and Accountability ® Financing the Future and the Global Economy ® Climate, Crisis Mitigation, and Resilient Cities ® Human-centric Futures and Capacity Building ® Global Health Transformations ® Emerging Frontiers and the Future

New university for cooperatives

® The central government has introduced the Tribhuvan Sahkari University Bill, 2025 in the Lok Sabha to establish a new university named Tribhuvan Sahkari University at the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) in Gujarat. ® The university will be the first of its kind in India. ® It will be declared an institution of national importance . ® IRMA was founded by Dr Verghese Kurien in 1979 . ® Dr. Kurien is known as the Father of the White Revolution in India .
