New Coast Guard vessels
launched
® Vandana Agrawal , Chairperson of the International Financial Services Centres Authority ( IFSCA ), launched two Fast Patrol Vessels (FPVs) built by
Goa Shipyard Ltd (GSL) for the Indian Coast Guard (ICG).
® The FPVs, named ‘Amulya’
(1272) and ‘Akshay’
(1273) built under the vision of ‘Atmanirbha Bharat’ in defence production were launched in Goa.
Shivaji statue near LAC
® The Indian Army has installed a statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on the bank of Pangong Tso lake in eastern Ladakh .
® The statue is located at an altitude of 14,300 feet , near the Line of Actual Control (LAC).
® Lt Gen Hitesh Bhalla , General Officer Commanding of the 14 Corps (Fire and Fury Corps), inaugurated the statue.
Loitering munitions

The Indian Army has received 360
‘Nagastra-1’ loitering munitions from Nagpur -based Solar Industries India.
®
The munitions have over 75% indigenous content.
INS Nirdeshak
commissioned

INS Nirdeshak , the second ship of the four Survey Vessel (large) project, has joined the Indian Navy at Visakhapatnam Naval Dockyard, Andhra Pradesh.
®
The ship is built with over 80% indigenous components.
®
The ship is equipped with advanced hydrographic systems.
®
It is designed to conduct hydrographic surveys, aid in navigation, and support maritime operations.
®
Its weight is of 30 kg and length is of 110 meters.
