High Impact Community Development Projects

® India has signed an MoU with the Maldives for the third phase of High Impact Community Development Projects (HICDPs). ® India will provide grant assistance for the implementation of these projects. ® 47 HICDPs have been undertaken so far. ® 8 HICDPs have been completed and inaugurated.

India-Indonesia rice trade deal

® The central government has approved an MoU between the Ministry of Cooperation (MoC) and the Ministry of Trade of Indonesia. ® The MoU is for the annual trade of 1 million metric tons (MT) of Non-Basmati White Rice (NBWR). ® The duration of the MoU is 4 years , extendable by another 4 years. ® The MoU will be implemented by the National Cooperative Exports Ltd (NCEL) based in New Delhi .

Microsoft-MeitY AI collaboration

® Microsoft has signed an MoU with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) . ® The MoU is under the IndiaAI mission. ® Microsoft will provide AI skill development training to 5 lakh students, teachers, and professionals in India by 2026.

India-US cybercrime pact

® India and the USA signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in cybercrime investigations. ® The MoU focuses on increased cooperation and training in using cyber threat intelligence and digital forensics.
