Ayushman Bharat

Diwas is celebrated on the last day of April every year.

This year, it falls on 30 April 2024. PM-JAY is a healthcare scheme launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2018. The day is observed to promote and uphold the principles of Ayushman Bharat Yojana, also known as Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY).

Chernobyl Disaster Remembrance Day 2024 Observed on April 26 th .

On April 26, 1986, the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in Ukraine (formerly part of the Soviet Union) exploded, releasing a massive radioactive cloud into the atmosphere. This disaster exposed approximately 8.4 million people to harmful nuclear radiation.
