The MoC implements the “ Global Engagement Scheme ” to promote India’s cultural heritage and its global image.

It has empanelled 627 artists/groups for various art forms to perform in the Festivals of India abroad.

The MoC also organises Rashtriya Sanskriti Mahotsavs (RSMs) in the country.

The government has set up 7 Zonal Cultural Centres (ZCCs) to organise cultural programmes at the national level and protect, preserve, and promote various folk art forms and culture.
Conference on human
trafficking

The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) organised a national conference on combating human trafficking in the digital era.

The conference was held in collaboration with the Hidayatullah National Law University in Raipur, Chhattisgarh .

Fort William in Kolkata , the headquarters of the Eastern Army Command, has been renamed as Vijay Durg .
