Karnataka launches Garudakshi portal

® The portal facilitates online registration of First Information Reports (FIRs) related to forest crimes. ® The Wildlife Trust of India (WTI) assisted in the development of the portal.

Kreeda App launched in AP

® The Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh has launched ‘Kreeda App’ , India’s first mobile application for sports management. ® The app helps athletes update profiles, track performance, and access achievement certificates through DigiLocker. ® Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu are the only states that issue digital certificates for sports achievements/participation.

India to host CSPOC 2026

® India will host the 28th Conference of Speakers and Presiding Officers of Parliaments of Commonwealth Countries (CSPOC) in January 2026 . ® The announcement was made by Lok Sabha Speaker during the CSPOC Standing Committee Meeting in Guernsey . ® The conference will focus on the integration of AI and social media in parliamentary processes. ® The CSPOC was established in 1969 by Lucien Lamoureux. ® India had already hosted this event in 1970-71, 1986, and 2010.

Atlas of Indian Wolf Habitats launched

® The Gujarat government has launched the “Atlas of Indian Wolf Habitats ” to conserve the Indian Wolf. ® The atlas identifies suitable habitats across 13 districts. ® The atlas was jointly prepared by the Forest Department of Gujarat in collaboration with Gujarat Ecological Education and Research Foundation (GEER Foundation).
