Wealthiest Cities Report 2024

In a testament to India’s sustained economic growth, Mumbai and Delhi have debuted in the top 50 wealthiest cities worldwide according to the Wealthiest Cities Report 2024 by Henley & Partners and New World Wealth. Mumbai secured the 24th position while Delhi claimed the 37th spot.

The Asian Development Bank has released the Asian Development Policy Report in 2024.

Asia ages quickly with the risk of not having enough resources to support an aging population. The elderly population (60 years and older) is expected to double to nearly 25.2% (1.2 billion) by 2050. Health insurance coverage among the elderly in India is very low at 21%.
