Deadbots

A new study urges caution in the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) chatbots designed to mimic deceased loved ones, known as ‘ deadbots ’. Deadbots are also known as griefbots , are AI-enabled digital representations of departed loved ones. Researchers have warned that these chatbots, while potentially comforting, could lead to psychological distress if not designed with safety in mind.

Govt comes out with detailed guidelines to prevent EtO (ethylene oxide) contamination in spices exports.

Recently Hong Kong and Singapore banning the sale of popular brands after detecting the carcinogenic chemical ethylene oxide in their products. In 2023-24, India’s spice export totaled USD 4.25 billion, accounting for a 12 percent share of the global spice exports. The world spice trade is worth USD 35 billion in 2023. China is the top exporter with exports of USD 8 billion in 2023.
