AICTE declares 2025
as AI year

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has declared 2025 as the “Year of Artificial Intelligence (AI)” to make India a global leader in AI.
®
The initiative will involve all
14,000 AICTE-approved colleges and 40 million students.
®
A nationwide campaign, “ AI for all: The Future Begins Here,”
will be conducted, including workshops, hackathons, and guest lectures to promote AI awareness.
Jammu Railway
Division inaugurated

The new Jammu Railway Division , spanning 742.1 km was inaugurated
®
This brings the total number of Indian Railways divisions to 70 .
®
The division includes the Pathankot-Jammu-Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla section (USBRL) (423 route km).
®
The 6.5 km long Z-Morh tunnel in Sonamarg, Ganderbal, Jammu and Kashmir was also inaugurated.
